Copying a URL to the clipboard

The URL of an item can be copied to the clipboard so that it can be used as a hyperlink to access the item from other programs.  To copy the URL to the clipboard, select the item and click on the share icon () that becomes active to the right of the item name (or on the Copy link option in the context menu). 

The item URL is now available in the clipboard to be pasted in other applications
