Documents

The document view displays the list of folders and documents in the project.

At the top of the view, the view displays a thumbnail of the recently opened projects, if any. Below that, the view displays all the folders and documents available to the user in the project. 

Folders and specifications can be displayed either in tile or list mode. You may toggle between these two views by clicking on the corresponding icon at the top-right corner of the documents group: 

 

If the list mode is displayed folders and documents will be displayed in a grid format that allows for users to display additional information in columns by clicking on the Column Chooser ( ) option and filter them based on this column by clicking on the Column Filter icon ( ). The Column Filter option will display a filter at the top of each column that the user can use to enter a value to search for: 

 

 Each document will display a different color coding at the left- or right-hand side depending on the status: 

  • A green icon indicates that the folder or document name or attributes are being edited by the current user (Checked Out status) 
  • A yellow icon indicates that the folder or document name or attributes are being edited by another user (Checked Out by Another User status) 
  • No icon indicates that the folder or document is not being edited (Checked In status)
