Project management
Project list
Projects in Visure are composed, among other things, of:
- Items (requirements, defects, tests, reviews, etc. – whatever other custom types you may have defined in your project).
- Baselines.
- Filters and views.
- Documents and folder structure.
- Data models that defined the allowed links and link types between the items.
- Attributes and workflows.
- User Groups (roles) users can take in a project.
- Access Partitions that help define the access rights from the user groups to the items.
- Configuration and settings.
Unless the reusability option is enabled, in which case, we will be able to share items among projects, all of these elements exist only in the project they were created. For instance, an attribute or a view may not be created to apply to multiple projects.
Therefore, it is important to determine what a “Visure project” means within your organization. A “Visure project” may be equivalent to a product in one organization, whereas it may be equivalent to a component, or a set of components in another.
Clicking on the “Projects” icon in the navigation panel will take you to the list of active projects in the repository.
From this view, you will be able to:
- Search the list of projects.
- Export the list to Excel.
- Create new projects.
- Edit projects.
- Generate a project template out of a project.
- Delete projects.
- Restore projects.
- Purge projects.

Administrators may search the list of projects making use of the search bar at the top of the application.
Export to Excel
