Connect the MCP to Gemini CLI

Gemini CLI requires Node.js (download from nodejs.org). (Complete the MCP prerequisites first.)

Install the CLI:

npm install -g @google/gemini-cli

Edit the Gemini settings file — user settings at %USERPROFILE%\.gemini\settings.json, or system-wide at C:\ProgramData\gemini-cli\settings.json:
